Stephen Miles Schamehorn

Stephen Miles Schamehorn on Friday February 13, 2026 in his 69th year. He is the beloved husband of Joanne,
much loved father of Shane (Sam), Scott (Amy), Daniel (Mel), Amanda (Brad), and Stacey (Brandon). He will be forever treasured by his grandchildren Dominic, Alexis,
Tristian, Cassidy, Sean, Avery, Annaley, Isaac, Grace and Miles.
Much loved son of Mona Pearl Bessie Schamehorn. Dear brother of Bob, Wanda (Scott), Christine (Ray),
George, Sandra (Bill), and Janice (Perry). He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends and
extended family.
Predeceased by his father George Allan Schamehorn.
Steve started working for the CNR at the age of 17 and made it his career until he retired. Steve was an avid hunter and fisherman. He fished and caught many on
Lake Noneyour. His biggest love and treasure was family.
Cremation has taken place. A Private family service will take place at the South River Train Station at 1 pm followed a Gathering of friends and family at South River Legion Branch 390 from 2pm until 5 pm.  Words of Remembrance will take place at 3pm
If so desired, memorial donations to the Good Happenings Food Bank in memory of Steve would be acknowledged of expressions of sympathy.
