Ron ORVILLE Kent

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ronald Orville Kent on November 26th, 2023 at the North Bay Regional Health Center.  He was the loving husband of Karen Kent, much loved father of Erin (Michelle), Melita, Joel (Amanda), and Charles (Kylie).  Dear Poppa of Kennedy, Emma, Eli, Ryan, Isaac,Gloria and Ezra.  He will be missed by his siblings Everett (Diane), Murray (Wanda), Marna (Jim), and Heather (Vern).  He was the oldest brother and was looked up to for his wisdom and advice.  He is survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.  Ron loved sports, cheered on the Toronto Maple Leafs, and i his younger years played hockey and baseball.  When he retired he became a Winter Texan where he spent a lot of time riding bicycle and playing in a Senior Men's baseball league. He loved kayaking, gardening and working in nature, which he inherited from his father.  Ron always had a smile and loved visiting with family and friends.  Ron was predeceased by his parents Ken and Mary Kent and his much loved son Ryan.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life is planned for the Spring.  Memorial donations to Parkinson Canada or a charity of your choice would be acknowledged as expressions of sympathy by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.raneyfuneralchapel.ca
